It's so easy to use festive Christmas door decorations to add a holiday touch to welcome guests to your home.  Decorating your door is pretty easy and can add the finishing touch to all of your holiday decorating.

My top pick for decking out your holiday entrance is this handmade artificial Christmas wreath.

Fun story...when I was about 9 years old, I went into business selling Christmas wreaths.  I loved putting these together - I've always loved Christmas! - and I've always had the entrepreneurial spirit.

So for a couple of years, I would gather my supplies, looking for ways to decorate beautiful, elegant wreaths.  I had decent demand, too.

All it took was letting my family and my mom's friends know what I was offering - they enjoyed having a lovingly made holiday decoration to put on display.

So I know what I'm talking about here! :)

What's great about Christmas wreath door decorations is that they can be simple and clean or packed full of color and dimension.  Take this one for example, it's bright, colorful, full of whimsical touches and would be a lovely way to welcome your visitors!

The great thing about wreaths is that they can be used indoors and out.  A friend of mine uses wreaths throughout her home on doors and walls and it's so festive!

But what if you want something more simple?  Something that looks realistic?  A traditional Christmas wreath for your door or home?  You have some great options!

But not everyone wants wreaths for their Christmas door decorations. Are there alternatives? You bet!

As you can see, there are plenty of Christmas door decorations to help you spruce up your home and welcome your guests. Whether you use them indoors or out, I guarantee you'll like this simple way to show your holiday spirit.

Inflatable Christmas yard decorations are a fun way to celebrate the holidays.  I know I enjoy seeing colorful, brightly-lit yards full of animated characters.  And though my son is older, he's always loved seeing these decorations at Christmastime.

One of our favorite sights is Santa and his reindeer.  There's nothing like seeing the big man in red riding in his sleigh - life-size and ready to deliver gifts.  This self-inflating yard decoration is perfect for your holiday yard!  Santa and his reindeer light up for nighttime viewing, making this inflatable yard decoration great for night or day.

This decoration is 8 feet long, 3 feet high, and only 14 inches wide, so it's not going to take up your whole yard, but it's large enough to be the centerpiece of your holiday scene.

I love that everything you need is included.  You get an inflator fan, ground stakes, and tethers, and this item self-deflates in seconds, so if you're looking for an inflatable outdoor Christmas decoration that is easy to use, this one is a great choice.

Disney Inflatable Christmas Decorations

I'm a huge Disney fan, so I love it when I see Disney inflatable Christmas decorations.  Like many fans, I love seeing my favorite characters at Christmastime, and kids absolutely love seeing their favorites, too!

Frozen items are a popular decoration for the holiday yard and there are some great choices.  But if you're like me and want to see the "fab 5" in your yard, you can find Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse airblown inflatables, too.  And Star Wars fans, you're covered!  Darth Vader and Stormtroopers sporting holiday touches are available for purchase.

Inflatable Outdoor Christmas Decorations

My favorite thing about inflatable outdoor Christmas decorations is that they are so easy to use.  No prep work, no assembly - just inflate, display, and deflate.  These Christmas inflatable yard decorations make a big statement.  They're life-size, sometimes even interactive, and light up your yard taking your display from day to night.

One drawback to these is that they don't look very nice when they're turned off - all you see is a big pile of polyester on the ground.  But if you're saving power or want to save on your electricity bill, I think that's a small price to pay for having a spectacular nighttime yard display for Christmas.
